About the Pasta
Each bag of our handmade Gnocchetti is 8oz, crafted with our signature flour blend and Italian herbs. Unlike potato gnocchi, these little ridged shells have a firm bite and deep grooves that capture sauces beautifully. Their size and texture make them ideal for both rich, meaty dishes and fresh, herb-based recipes.
Brief History
Gnocchetti, also called malloreddus in Sardinia, means “little gnocchi.” This traditional pasta has been a Sardinian favorite for centuries, often served during festivals and family gatherings. Its small, ridged shape was designed to hold hearty sauces and reflect the rustic, comforting flavors of Italian home cooking.
Perfect Pairings
- Sausage & Tomato Ragù + Cannonau (Grenache)
A Sardinian classic—spiced sausage in tomato sauce clings to the ridges, while Cannonau’s bold, fruity character enhances the flavors. - Creamy Spinach Alfredo + Pinot Grigio
The grooves of gnocchetti hold onto the silky Alfredo, perfectly complemented by Pinot Grigio’s light, crisp notes. - Pesto alla Genovese + Vermentino
Fresh basil and Parmesan coat each curve, with Vermentino’s bright citrus finish lifting the dish.
