About the Pasta
Each bag of our handmade Garganelli is 8oz, made with our special flour blend and Italian herbs. The tubular shape, ridges, and signature “overlap seam” give Garganelli a charming artisanal look and a perfect ability to hold onto rich sauces. It’s a pasta that feels as authentic as it tastes, connecting every meal to Italian tradition.
Brief History
Garganelli hails from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, where it has been a cherished handmade pasta for centuries. Traditionally rolled from small squares of dough around a wooden stick and pressed on a ridged board, Garganelli has a rustic seam and textured surface that make it stand out from machine-extruded pastas like penne.
Perfect Pairings
- Prosciutto & Cream Sauce + Lambrusco
The delicate cream sauce coats each ridge, while lightly sparkling Lambrusco balances with a touch of sweetness. - Classic Bolognese Ragù + Sangiovese
Hearty meat ragù fills the tubes and clings to the ridges, perfectly matched with the bold, earthy depth of Sangiovese. - Wild Mushroom & Truffle Butter + Barbera
Earthy mushrooms and truffle pair with the pasta’s rustic texture, elevated by Barbera’s dark fruit and balanced acidity.
